Hello Varazdin’s People! I’m here again writing my blog! So… This week I did some different things that I want to explain to you!

Today I did a lot of events! First of all I went to a press conference where the police was explaining how they are going to act in case of snow. After that I went to the Sports Hall and I think there was a meeting of people from other countries that were playing sports.
And then I went to see how are they building the Ice Rink for doing Ice Skate in Varazdin! I’ll obviously go someday to do that! 😀
And finally tonight I had an event in Studentski Dom, which was fun because it’s where I live and I just had to go down the stairs to cover it haha And it was an event about the war, they put a video and then we saw a lot of pictures from war time in Varazdin.

It’s snowing! I’m so happy right now! It has been like a year since I saw the snow and I was expecting to see it here. So today when I woke up the snow was falling! But the only bad thing is that it didn’t stay in the ground because it was all wet…
Tonight Anna, Carlos, Guillaume and I went to have dinner out because we were celebrating Guillaume’s birthday. It was a really fun night because we finally went out and we drank a lot and danced a lot! We first went to The Elephant, where Jam IT was playing. They are really great and I love the kind of music they were playing so we just sang and danced! And at some point they played a song for me!! So, if you read me from here, thank you again!
After that we went to a Disco called Mea Culpa which I didn’t like and it was full of really young people hahah and then we decided to go to My Way. Which was also very crowded but at least music was better!

Today we woke up and went to pick up the car in the car rental agency. We decided to go to Slavonia! So we first drove to Osijek and then to Vukovar.
It wasn’t a smart choice because it was really far away! We drove like 10 hours and we spent a lot of money in gas! Also we were very tired from yesterday’s party! Even though, the trip was nice. We had the opportunity to see Slavonia and see the traces of the war in the buildings. Also, since it was a really cold Sunday, I think everybody was in their house. So the streets were absolutely empty and you could breathe the war atmosphere.
We ate in Osijek, and I have to say that the meat there is incredibly amazing!
After that we went for a small walk in the city and then we drove to Vukovar.
Unfortunately, when we arrived there, the memorial place was already closed, so we couldn’t see it! But we saw a tank, we went to the city and we did a small walk to Dunav. I wasn’t expecting to see the Dunav so it was really great! It’s absolutely huge! And also we saw Serbia in the other side, while the moon was shining as strongly as ever!
The comeback though was really exhausting, and everybody was sleeping so I needed the music so loud to not fall asleep!

Today I decided with Anna that we were going to a shop that had a sale in shoes… But I wasn’t expecting it to be so far away! We walked a long time and then we crossed a bridge that was completely frozen (today was one of the coldest days since I’m here) and finally we didn’t even buy any shoes ahhaa
But it was great! Then I had dinner with the guys and I met with Hax for another bass lesson. I’m trying to play Stratus and he says I only will do it ok in 6 months from now… But I’m going to show him that I can do better!!!

Today we went to Cakovec to celebrate Igor’s 30 birthday. I enjoyed it a lot because I got to try gulas, which I have to say it’s really great. You Croatians know how to eat and drink! And obviously we drank a lot of Gemist. It was so refreshing seeing the people from work in another environment, having fun and talking and drinking.

This morning we went to do an Anketa to students in Varazdin. It’s really fun because most of the people react as if you were carrying a gun when they see your camera.
And this afternoon I went with Carlos and Guillaume to see the Handball Match between Zagreb and Kielce and it was better than I expected! It was the first time I was going to a Handball match and I really enjoyed it! Also it was a really equal match and Zagreb team fought until the very end, it’s a shame that they didn’t finally win!
This weekend we are planning to go to the coast! Finally I will see the sea, which is one of the things that I miss more from Barcelona!
